Everywhere you look these days there are big red hearts to remind you
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, but besides thinking about
chocolate-filled bon-bons, there’s a bittersweet side to it all:
February is also American Heart Month and a good time to reflect on
your ticker’s well-being (did you know heart disease is the number 1
killer of women?). Marking its 10-year anniversary, The Heart Truth
has been committed to raising awareness on women’s heart health
issues. On February 8, the Red Dress Collection Fashion Show will have
a celeb-studded list of supporters, including actress Rose McGowan,
who will walk the catwalk in Donna Karan. She’s a lady in red who’s
sure to set a few hearts aflutter!
